About HKHNA

The Hong Kong Haematology Nursing Association was set up and managed by 4 founders on a voluntary basis. 

The objectives of our Association are:

1.​ To establish, administer, operate and maintain in Hong Kong a charitable, non-profit making organization for the advancement of health and social welfare to the Hong Kong community and for the relief of patients with haematology abnormalities and disease;

2.​ To enhance professional standard of haematology nursing of haematology nurses and other medical professionals and cater for the needs of patients with haematology abnormalities and disease and their families;

3. ​To promote communication among nurses and other organizations caring for patients with haematology abnormalities and disease and their families;

4. ​To promote professional growth and continuing professional development of haematology nurses;

5. ​To promote, foster, develop and assist medical and allied professionals in the study of and acquisition, dissemination and application of knowledge and information concerning haematology care service and other related medical care services.
